The Florida Department of Education’s Office of Independent Education and Parental Choice is excited to announce that this year’s Florida Charter School Conference will be held October 20-22, 2021, at the Caribe Royale Orlando. Mark your calendar to join us as we celebrate 25 years of charter schools in Florida! During this time, we have witnessed the growth of these laboratories of innovation from a handful of schools to 688 institutions serving more than 329,000 students in 48 Florida school districts. School choice is thriving as our public charters schools continue to provide Florida students with an equitable educational experience that equips them to pursue the best version of themselves! Our theme for this year is “Education is Freedom”: reflecting a freedom to choose, a freedom to grow, and a freedom to elevate our lives to chase after our dreams!
